I guess this started out life as an "Ero" game although subsequent releases of the game for PS2 took out the sexual content.

The anime is a little twist on the "Harem" bishojo/pretty girl anime.
It has copious amounts of fan service along with some character-building episodes, tossed together with a short little ghost-story.

It's not boring but with the gender bending and occasional yuri connotations most average cartoon/anime fans might feel pretty uncomfortable viewing this in a mixed audience. Otaku will have no problem at all.

The fans over at ANN give this a solid 7.1. Personally I found it a little more endearing and worth a 7.7, it's rewatchable and just kind of fun, even cute/kawaii.

For the average Joe who's anime exposure is enjoying Miazaki films and just what is on cable they might see this as more of a 5 or 6.
Not recommended for those of the extreme conservative ilk.

Media Blasters is going to do a release here in North America but I'm guessing it will be in 2008 and I haven't seen any certain dates.
